This was a corporate identity project based off a boutique I conceptualized. Unruly, a brand that sells spray paint, was originated in Miami, Florida. The target audience is graffiti artists that live there who tend to be around the ages of 18–25. The corporate philosophy for this brand was thinking outside the box when it came to artistic expression. The brand is dedicated to providing bold and brash art supplies for unruly artists. The logo mark reflected this ideal as a hyena, one of the most unruly animals out there. The logo type reflected “breaking the rules” as well, purposefully turning the “R” upside down to fit the aesthetic.
